INFORMATION NOTICE FOR VISITORS
REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW NO. 6698 ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA ("KVKK")
This form has been prepared to inform and enlighten visitors about the protection of personal data under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, adopted on March 24, 2016, and relevant regulations during the acquisition of personal data.
Opakim Medical Products Industry and Trade Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") attaches utmost importance to the security of your personal data. The Company takes great care in processing and storing all types of personal data of individuals associated with it in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").
We inform you that your personal data held by our Company will be recorded, stored, preserved, maintained, updated as legally required, and shared with institutions authorized to request such data under legal requirements. The data may also be disclosed/transferred to domestic or international third parties within legal boundaries as permitted by law, classified, and processed in ways outlined in the KVKK.
PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The types of personal data collected may vary depending on the services, products, or commercial activities provided by our Company. The data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically via offices, branches, call centers, websites, social media platforms, mobile applications, or similar means. Unless you request otherwise, your personal data will be processed and updated during the period you benefit from our products and services.
The collected personal data may be processed for purposes such as ensuring that you benefit from the products and services offered by our Company, customizing these products and services according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs, ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and its associates (administrative operations related to communication, ensuring the security and audit of Company premises, evaluating partner/customer/supplier processes, legal compliance, financial operations, etc.), and determining and implementing our commercial and business strategies, as outlined in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
THIRD PARTIES TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA MAY BE TRANSFERRED AND PURPOSES OF TRANSFER
Your personal data may be shared with business partners, suppliers, group companies, shareholders, and legally authorized public institutions and private individuals to fulfill the purposes of processing outlined above. These data transfers are carried out within the legal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
METHODS OF COLLECTING AND PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be collected via various means (Company headquarters, branches, dealerships, sales offices, or other subcontractors and business partners; physical and electronic platforms such as websites, mobile applications, social media, or other public platforms; training, seminars, and similar events; or investigative methods) in verbal, written, audio, visual, or other formats.
YOUR RIGHTS
As personal data subjects, you may submit requests regarding your rights to the Company, and the Company will process your request as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, free of charge. However, if the Personal Data Protection Board sets a fee, the tariffed amount may be charged.
You may request to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed by the Company,
- Request information about the data processing activity if it is processed,
- Learn the purpose of data processing and whether it is used for its intended purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of incomplete or incorrect data,
- Request notification of corrections to third parties to whom data is transferred,
- Request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data if the reasons for its processing no longer exist,
- Request that such actions be communicated to third parties to whom data is transferred,
- Object to results against you arising from the exclusive analysis of data processed through automated systems,
- Claim compensation for damages if personal data is processed unlawfully.
According to Article 13(1) of the Law, you may submit your requests regarding your rights by completing the Data Subject Application Form available at [form link], sending a signed copy to Tophanelioğlu Cad. No:70/1 Altunizade - Üsküdar/Istanbul by hand, via notary public, or sending it to the registered email address opakim@hs02.kep.tr.
CHANGES
Opakim Medical Products Industry and Trade Inc. reserves the right to change this information notice due to amendments in the Personal Data Protection Law or methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
